The Cocktail The Week to celebrate our glorious return from our transatlantic, pandemic travels and Episode 37: Holiday Hangover we’ve whipped Mexico’s fav cure, the Michelada.

Ingredients

2 oz. chilled Clamato (optional) for vegans- use tomato juice

And what is Clamato, you may ask? This briny drink is just what it sounds like: a blend of tomato juice and clam broth, with some spices blended in.

1 bottle or can chilled Mexican lager

2 oz. fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (such as Cholula or Tabasco)

A couple dashes Maggi Seasoning

Kosher salt

1/2 tsp. chili powder

Lime wedges (for serving)

Ice
