Italian Happy Hour & Dyson Love

Updated: Jun 29, 2021

Our Bougie Crew joined us for happy hour at Louie Bossi's Restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida. We kicked off our show with a round of Aperol Spritzes and shenanigans.

Aperol hails from Pauda, Italy. It's an Italian bitter apéritif made of gentian, rhubarb, and cinchona, among other ingredients. It has a vibrant orange hue. Its name comes from the French slang word for aperitif, which is apero.

The Aperol Spritz

Start by adding ice into the glass then pour in the Prosecco, the Aperol and add a splash of soda, top with a slice of orange. This serving avoids the Aperol settling at the bottom.

Preparation Time: 5 min

  • FILL A WINE GLASS WITH ICE

  • COMBINE PROSECCO DOC FOLLOWED BY APEROL IN EQUAL PARTS

  • ADD A DASH OF CLUB SODA

  • GARNISH WITH AN ORANGE SLICE

Tiffany is loving her Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. She was initially on the fence about spending so much on a blowdryer, but after a celeb hairstylist used it on her, she was "sold"! The Dyson dries hair quickly with much less damage than a regular blowdryer. There are three settings for heat and air power. The Supersonic comes with magnetic attachments, none of which are hot to the touch, even on the highest settings.

Another effective Dyson pick, especially for pet owners is the Dyson D11 Animal Stick Vac. This lightweight wonder has 60 minutes of running time and works on a variety of floors and upholstery. The filtration system removes 99.9% of allergens, particles and dust as small as .3 microns. The attachments make this the perfect vac for small crevices in your home and car. We can't say enough about this tiny wonder!
