Bougie in LA LA Land & A Prestigious College Admissions Firm

Updated: Feb 13

Los Angeles has just opened up, so Tiffany & Lady Ripper hopped on a plane for a quick visit to one of their favorite places. As a result, this week, Tiffany & Mia are sipping on a drink from the famed Beverly Hills restaurant, Spago, helmed by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. Classic rock is always playing and the cocktail names are drawn from iconic rock songs. The Tiffany Twisted, inspired by the song, Hotel California by the Eagles, is one of our favorite drinks. Besides a cheeky name, it's a refreshing summer sipper.

The Tiffany Twisted from Spago

(all ingredients should be chilled)

½ oz Aperol

½ oz St. Germain

½ oz Simple Syrup

¼ oz Lemon Juice

1 Dash Lemon Bitters (optional)

Pour all of the above into a carafe and gently stir to blend. Transfer into a chilled Champagne Coupe.

LA Bougie Picks

Shop til you drop was the name of the game along with some pit stops at our favorite restaurants.

Intermix - celeb sightings, trendy clothing and shoes. Carmen Electra dropped by while we were there.

Lauren Moshi - They only use the finest fabrics for maximum comfort. Lauren Moshi’s current collection consists of fabulous tanks, tee’s, sweaters, dresses, open cardigan's, hoodies, sweat pants and totes all featuring one of a kind, hand drawn art by Lauren. In addition to apparel, she sells her own artwork.

Diptyque - Beverly Hills (the best of them all). We recommend the Beverly Hills candle only available in the boutique. Telephone orders are accepted. Free shipping from the store. Shout out to Maria!

Chanel - Beverly Hills (Wilshire Drive location was better than Roberston Blvd). Ask for Malik. He's a sweetheart.

Kitson - Chock full of fun stuff, from comfy T's, sweats and sweaters to art, home accessories and personal care items. We love Kitson!

The Ivy - Guaranteed celeb sightings in this cozy and quaint restaurant. We recommend the lobster pasta. Leave room for a cocktail and dessert! We like the Robertson Blvd outpost better than the Santa Monica version, Ivy By the Sea.

208 Rodeo - a bit touristy but the food and service is top notch. Spend an afternoon chilling on Rodeo Drive, just above the Tiffany & Company.

Book Soup - Book Soup is located on the world-famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Founded by Glenn Goldman as "Bookseller to the Great and Infamous," the store has been serving readers, writers, artists, rock 'n' rollers, and celebrities since 1975. Guarded over by two golden dogs, Book Soup has 60,000+ titles, specializing in art, film, photography, music, and literary fiction. They also have a fun array of gifts.

The London West Hollywood - Cool vibes, large junior suite rooms with balconies, a sexy rooftop pool and free breakfast! Just off of Sunset Drive, the location can't be beat.
