Lady Ripper hails from England, Mia lived there and Lord Ripper & Tiffany are enthusiastic tourists! Here are our favorite places and things from England:
Fortnum & Maison - Founded in 1707, this Piccadilly staple touts itself as the "World's Most Famous Cornershop". Its historic shelves are lined with gourmet coffees and teas, candies, preserves and honeys. The ground floor boasts gorgeous produce and fresh foods. Housewares, wines, spirits, cookies and biscuits and more! It's an anglophile's dream. Three eateries at the Piccadilly location satisfy every palette: a wine bar, restaurant and tea parlor. The Diamond Jubilee Tea Parlor serves a traditional English tea. If you can't make a trip across the pond, Williams-Sonoma stocks a few noteworthy items from F&M.
Harrods - the famed Knightsbridge department store is a must see. Drop by one of the eateries in the mind blowing food hall (you'll need a bank loan) and fuel up before you wander around this huge department store. If you're a Princess Diana fan, don't miss the tribute to Diana and Dodi in the Egyptian Hall, including a wine glass from her last dinner and what is believed to be the engagement ring Dodi intended to give Diana.
Harvey Nichols - a favorite of the late Princess Diana. This chic department store is a few blocks away from Harrods. While you're there, grab a bite at Burger Lobster, a favorite of Lady Ripper's.
Karen Millen - This women's wear staple was Mia's go-to for her first "professional" wardrobe. The pieces are built to last, so consider them to be a good investment. Their motto is, “Everlasting designs with luxury status at attainable prices”. The company was founded in England in 1981 with a 100 Pound bank loan and has become a globally-recognized brand.
Windsor Castle - the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, it was founded by William The Conqueror in the 11th Century and has been home to 39 monarchs.
